Why are we rehab nurses? We started out on our unit with almost 90% of our patients being the easy ortho patients and have slowly gone to having more neuro patients. Now we have almost 50% of our patients that are neuro patients. I used to love the easy ortho patients. As times have changed...

Become a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN ® ) As a candidate for the CRRN ® examination and as stated in the CRRN Candidate Handbook , you must meet the following eligibility criteria at the time of application: Current, unrestricted US, US territories, or Canadian RN licensure; AND Completion of at least one of the following at the time of application: Two years of practice as a registered professional nurse in rehabilitation nursing within the last five years; or One year of practice as a registered professional nurse in rehabilitation nursing and one year of advanced study (beyond baccalaureate) in nursing within the last 5 years
