Supporting Family Caregivers through Education: A Call for Proposals

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) is proud to announce a new initiative aimed at supporting family caregivers through education. The ARN Advancing Science and Practice Subcommittee invites proposals for grant support to contribute to the development of the ARN Family Caregiver Resource Center.  

Formerly known as The Barbara Lutz Stroke Rehabilitation Grant, which was developed to honor the 2019-2020 ARN President, Barbara J. Lutz, PhD RN CRRN PHNA-BC FAHA FAAN, and provided funding to pursue stroke research, this ARN Caregiver Resource Development Grant seeks to create essential educational resources for family caregivers, ensuring they receive the most current and effective support from rehabilitation nurses. 

This initiative is funded through the Rehabilitation Nurse Foundation (RNF). All materials developed under this call will be trademarked by RNF. 

Applications open September 1, 2025 through November 30, 2025.
